1.

On Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7, you must have administrative privileges on the computer where you install the remote console and you must run it using administrative privileges. After you install the remote console, you can configure the console icon or Start menu item to launch using your administrative privileges. You may receive a certificate warning when you access the Web Console. You can eliminate this warning by adding the self-signed certificate to your Trusted Root Certification Authorities. For more information, see How to install the certificate for Endpoint Protection Manager Web Console access.

3.

On 64-bit systems that have installed both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Java Runtime Environment (JRE), you must first uninstall the 32-bit version.

For supported browser versions, consult the system requirements for the version of Symantec Endpoint Protection that you use. See Release notes, new fixes, and system requirements for all versions of Endpoint Protection.
